Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned competitor, we've got some great options for adults to get involved in volleyball with three different adult competitions running throughout the year.

Social
Tuesday graded
Tuesdays at our Newcastle City hub in Broadmeadow is a graded competition for A, B, and C Grade players.
This venue is popular due to its central position, however spaces for new players and teams is limited unfortunately. Each season we host player grading sessions to find suitable players to join teams which have a vacancy for specific positions or experience levels.
Summer/Autumn Season 2026 Underway!
The next season (Winter/Spring) begins 30th June, featuring A, B, C Grade men's teams. This season will run through to 8th December.

Women's graded
The 2026 season feature graded competitions all year long for our women's community, at venues in Newcastle, Maitland and Lake Macquarie.
Whether you're an experienced player, or returning to the game after time away we've got something for everyone!
Summer/Autumn Season underway!
Player rosters for the current 8 teams are now full for this season.
The next B Grade women's competition will be run in Maitland on Wednesdays from 10th June to 23rd September. New Players send us your details via the PICK UP ROSTER button above!
After that we have our A & B Grade women's competition running at Gateshead on Thursdays from 15th October to 10th December.
We will be recruiting new players for the mid-year competition soon!

Mixed recreational competitions
We have an awesome community of Adult Mixed Recreational players competing where the spirit of the game is "Fun and Fair Play at all times!".
No uniforms, no team, no worries, we'll help you find a team or welcome new teams as we cater for up to 8 teams per season. Every week there's a new themed Playlist and throughout the season we sprinkle in some coaching sessions to help everyone improve their skills.
Let's Get Ready for the new Season in Maitland!
We'll play a double round-robin competition starting 18th March, finishing with Finals on 3rd June.
NB: No Games 15th April (venue closed for floor polishing)
