Keep up to date with all things social volleyball
Juniors
Volleyball is your sport of choice this year, because it is non-contact, there are multiple seasons per year, and it can be played indoor or outdoors.
Start with Spikeroos for U13 and U15 skill development and then progress into a Junior Social Competition, there’s a lifetime of volleyball ahead of you!
For the experienced juniors the Junior Volleyball League, which launched in 2022 is your final destination before progressing into adult social competitions. Join the Sharks, Sunbirds, Panthers or Redbacks for high level weekly competition plus fortnightly training between June–September.
There are pathways into the Hunter Academy of Sport volleyball program as well as the Hunter Volleyball U18 representative program and the NSW Phoenix state junior teams.

Spikeroos
Our participation program is an 8-week intensive covering the mechanics of passing, setting, serving, spiking and blocking plus the decision-making involved on offence and defence! It's the one-stop place to start and finetune your volleyball skill development.

Term 2 14/U for kids born 2010-2014
Dates 7 weeks from 4th May - 22nd June (excluding 8th June)
Time Saturdays 9.00-10.30am

Junior social competition
The 2024 Junior Social Competition (JSC) for boys and girls will be played in Terms 1-2. This competition is the pre-cursor to selection in a Junior Volleyball League (JVL) team.

Junior Volleyball League (JVL)
The 2023 JVL season has wrapped up with the Sharks boys and Girls claiming the gold after hotly contested finals on 11th September 2023.

1 May: Open trials Girls 5-7pm
6 May: Open trials Girls 5-7pm, Boys 7-9pm
